DMK Enzyme Therapy is a tightening, setting face and body mask that is applied from the décolletage, up the neck and over the face. The mask contains living enzymes that stimulate naturally occurring enzymes within the skin to accelerate the cellular processes.

Upon setting it creates a downward pressure and pulsating action. That stimulates the circulatory system to pump fresh oxygenated blood throughout the capillaries, dilating them and creating a Plasmatic Effect. Plasmatic effect is the term for the response in the skin from the mask stimulating the circulatory system. This is made up of plasma and blood. It gives the appearance of a roadmap of red capillaries particularly on the neck and decolletage. It indicates nutrients from freshly oxygenated blood have been delivered to the skin cells. In addition to bringing the good it also removes the bad; detoxifying, moving stagnant blood and dead cell material through the lymphatic system.

DMK Enzyme Therapy is unlike any other treatment on the market. It’s a complete skin revision process that rebuilds and restores the healthy functioning of the skin at a cellular level. Discontinue the use of any Isotretinoin products (such as Accutane) for 6 months before treatment.
Discontinue the use of topical Retin-A or generic tretinoin for at least 48 hours before and after treatment.
Refrain from any type of exfoliating treatments such as glycolic acid or enzymes to the area for 48 hours before treatment.
Refrain from waxing and use of depilatories for 48 hours before and after treatment.
Discontinue use of over-the-counter acne medications such as benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid for 48 hours before and after treatment.
Avoid excessive sun exposure as well as the use of artificial tanning beds for 1 week prior to treatment.
Always wear Broad Spectrum UV Protection!
Wait 2 weeks after Botox and fillers to undergo a treatment.For men, shaving is not recommended on the day of treatment.
If you choose to shave, please shave at least 3-4 hours prior to your treatment.Avoid heat (hot showers, sauna, and intense cardio) for 24 hours after treatment.
If you do not need to apply makeup for the remainder of the day (on the day of your treatment), then wait until the next morning to wash your face. You will see improvement as soon as the first treatment.

Avoid strenuous exercise or heat treatments hot showers 24 hours post treatment.
Avoid the use of active ingredients such as AHA’s/BHA’s and retinoids/Retinol or any derivative of Vitamin A for 5-7 days post treatment.
You may or may not experience redness to the skin post treatment, this is normal, especially for sensitive clients who are touch sensitive.
We have stimulated the circulation in our skin and encouraged lymphatic drainage. This will normally subside 2-4 hours post treatment.
Cease the use of products containing L'Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C) and Enzymes for 2-3 days post treatment.It is important to keep the skin hydrated internally and topically post treatment.
A broad Spectrum UV protection is mandatory post treatment as your skin is more renewed and exposed post treatment.
We encourage continuous daily use of SPF to maintain healthy skin.
 Avoid direct sun exposure or sunlight for 2 weeks post treatment.No make to be worn 24 hrs post treatment.
Mineral makeup is perfect the next day. We stock Jane Iredale which is a perfect addition to your skincare routine.
Avoid all other Aesthetic treatments for 2-4 weeks post treatment.
To achieve maximum results, ongoing treatments and a daily skincare regime is recommended.

DMK Enzyme Therapy is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive of skins will benefit from this treatment. We do not advise DMK Enzyme Therapy Level 2 or 3 during Pregnancy, however Level 1 is Pregnancy safe. This treatment is unsuitable for clients with nut allergies or allergies to eggs.

We would ask for you to initially follow our detailed aftercare plan post treatment. We can provide you with a full homecare routine using advanced skincare to help prolong the results and continue to maintain healthy skin. We will provide you with a personal product prescription for you to follow at home.

Generally, we recommend a course of 6 treatments following guidelines and maintenance treatments every 4 to 6 weeks in between. DMK treatments are customised to each person’s individual skin needs. Recommended course/levels of treatment will vary and is curated by our Skin Experts to be specifically tailored for a client’s specific skin concerns.
